The evening was full of the sweetest moments, from friends greeting each other to shared laughter, and a few guests sneakily watching the Tennessee game. Rather than staging anything, the focus was on documenting the celebration as it unfolded.

For me, a big part of photographing an event like this is paying attention to what’s happening naturally. There were hugs, laughter, people catching up, and plenty of little moments happening in between. I love having the opportunity to photograph people when they’re focused on each other instead of the camera. Those moments don’t need much (or any) direction.
