Brandon is a fellow wedding photographer so he already knew what he was signing up for when he asked me to shoot his Nashville greenhouse engagement session at FloraHaus. What he didn’t fully account for was having absolutely nowhere for me to hide while I played the custom song he had made for her from my phone. We made it work. A Private Greenhouse in Nashville
FloraHaus is a privately owned greenhouse in Nashville and one of the more unique engagement session locations in the city. It has this warm, botanical quality that photographs beautifully without needing much help. The light through the greenhouse panels is soft and diffused which makes it a great spot year round, Valentine’s Day in February included. The Proposal
Jane said “are you sure?” about a million times which was both hilarious and completely sweet. Brandon, who has been behind the camera at hundreds of emotional moments, got a front row seat to what it feels like to be on the other side of one. He handled it well.

Once everything settled we rolled into portraits and the greenhouse delivered. FloraHaus gives you a lot to work with. The plants, the light, the textures.
