The thing about Cedarmont is that it doesn’t feel like one venue. It feels like several. Set on 40 acres, the property has rolling hills, open fields, and a pond with a cute little dock. There’s also a restored historic home surrounded by gardens. That variety is everything from a photographer’s perspective. It means no two weddings there look exactly the same.

The main house is charming and full of character without feeling stuffy. It’s also a really beautiful backdrop for first looks and bridal portraits. Right next to the main house is the bridal suite, which overlooks the pool and stone patio. It’s a super pretty space to get ready in, and it photographs beautifully with natural light.

The Ceremony and Reception Spaces

One of the most popular ceremony spots sits right in front of the house. It’s surrounded by trees so even on a bright June day, you have some natural softness to work with. After the ceremony, the open fields nearby are perfect for portraits during golden hour.

The event barn is equally impressive. It has floor-to-ceiling windows, crystal chandeliers, custom lighting, and a cocktail lawn. There’s also a lofted lounge for the groomsmen. It’s a barn that actually feels elevated. The windows make it a dream to shoot during cocktail hour when the light is still coming in.

Honestly, Cedarmont keeps on giving throughout the entire day. First there’s the bridal suite for getting ready photos. Then the historic house for portraits. Then the ceremony space surrounded by greenery, followed by the barn for the reception. Every phase of the day has a distinct and beautiful setting. You never run out of interesting places to be.

Summer weddings do mean dealing with full Tennessee sun for a good chunk of the day. However, the property has enough shade and variety that you can always find a good angle. And once golden hour hits over those open fields… chef’s kiss.
