I’m Cayla — an unserious millennial who keeps things simple, honest, and actually enjoyable (even if you hate having your photo taken).
My style is warm(ish), laid-back, and just a tiny bit nostalgic. I’m not really one to force moments or make you pretend to be someone you’re not. I’m here to document what’s real: the way it feels, not just how it looks.
I’m also not just showing up to do my job and dip out. I show up as your friend — someone who’s fully in it with you, paying attention to the details, and making sure you actually feel like yourself the whole time.
If you’re looking for perfectly posed and polished (holy alliteration), I'm probably not your girl. But if you want photos that feel true, easy, and like you, I’m here for it.

The key to getting photos that actually feel like you is knowing who you are. That’s why getting to know you comes first. Before working together, we'll chat (over coffee or cocktails, your call) so I can get a feel for what matters to you and how you want your story told. That way, by the time the camera's out, it doesn't feel like a photoshoot — it just feels like us, hanging out.

My husband and I had our elopement photoshoot done by Cayla and she was absolutely phenomenal. Her communication was prompt and she was extremely easy going. She went out of her way to meet me at the site a week prior to look around the location for good photo spots. The day of the event, she made us both feel relaxed and comfortable resulting in amazing photos that really captured who we are. Highly recommend.

I HATE getting my picture taken but my husband LOVES photos so for his birthday I agreed to do a couples session with Cayla. She was INCREDIBLE. She made us both feel so comfortable and at ease. She had us laughing and she captured us so naturally and candidly. The locations she chose were stunning. We love our pictures so much and it was such a fun memory. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants a fun, casual, comfortable and beautiful photo experience. Amazing!!
